My No-Fail Chocolate Bundt Cake (With Silky Chocolate Ganache)-The Only Chocolate Bundt Cake You’ll Ever Need
My No-Fail Chocolate Bundt Cake (With Silky Chocolate Ganache)-The Only Chocolate Bundt Cake You’ll Ever Need
I believe my kids are God’s gift to us.
When they are little and always around us, we somehow feel this phase is going to last forever. The noise, the mess, the laughter, the small fights, and the warm hugs.....it all feels permanent. But it isn’t. If we pause and think about our own childhood, we’ll understand. We once lived with our parents as carefree school kids, believing life would always stay the same. Then came studies, then jobs, then marriage and slowly, without even realising it, we moved away.
That’s why, with my kids, I want to build something more than just daily routines. I want to build memories. I want our home to be a place they long to come back to. A place that gives them peace. A place filled with the aromas of their childhood....
So I try,at least once every four days,to cook one of their favourite things. And yes, I also irritate them to do some activity, because later I don’t want them blaming me for making them fat 😉. Love, after all, is a balance between comfort and care, treats and discipline.
I’ve tried so many chocolate cake recipes over the years, but these days, this one is my go to recipe. It’s easy, it’s reliable, and most importantly, it’s incredibly soft and delicious. The kind of cake that quietly disappears from the kitchen, slice by slice, while you pretend not to notice.....My husband has no special interest in chocolate, and I usually cook only the things he likes. But there are a few things that I make especially for the kids, and there are times when he also asks for a slice after dinner....
This is our chocolate cake. And maybe one day, when they’re grown and far away, this smell will remind them of home.

Mix at high speed for 2 minutes until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
Pour the batter into the greased pan.
Bake at 180°C for about 40 minutes.
Insert a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, the cake is done.
Let the cake cool completely before frosting.
Chocolate Ganache
Ingredients
Heavy cream – 200 ml
Chocolate pieces – 200 grams
Method
Take an oven-safe bowl and add the cream and chocolate pieces.
Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds. Take it out and mix well.
Put it back in for another 30 seconds, then mix again.
Repeat until all the chocolate is melted and the mixture becomes smooth and glossy.
Let the ganache cool slightly before using.
Assembling the Cake
If you like, you can spray sugar syrup over the cake to make it extra moist.
Spread the ganache evenly over the cooled cake.
Let it set, slice, and serve.
